A freshman defensive back has reportedly been charged with a DUI.The New Castle News is reporting that Marcus Hooker, a freshman defensive back from Pennsylvania, has been charged.“Marcus James Hooker, 18, of New Castle, by Neshannock Township police with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane, careless driving, no rear lights and purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor,” reads the report.Hooker is reportedly scheduled to appear in court on July 5 at 9:30 a.m. E.T. for a preliminary arraignment.The three-star recruit is a New Castle, Pa. native.Hooker was ranked the No. 62 cornerback in the country coming out of high school this past spring. He is the younger brother of former Ohio State star and current Indianapolis Colts defensive back Malik Hooker.Ohio State has yet to release a comment on the reported charge.
