FREE Clothing Giveaway Hosted By Nikiski Middle High School

first_imgFacebook0TwitterEmailPrintFriendly分享As many students prepare to start the new school year, they clean out their closets and wardrobe. When they find things they do not need or want any longer, they should keep in mind those in need. KPBSD anticipates serving over 100 students who are homeless this year; already over 50 students are enrolled in the coming year. The Nikiski Middle High School Torch Club & Keystone members are hosting a “FREE Clothing Giveaway” August 6th, 7th, & 8th from 9-3pm at Nikiski Middle High School Library. Last year, the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District reported an increase in students who lack a permanent, stable, and adequate place to sleep at night or adequate clothing for school.center_img The clothing drive will donate to local students in need at the start of the school year. The organization in charge of the clothing drive, is seeking socks, shirts, shorts, and sweatshirts for students who are in need. There will also be free limited school supplies for those in need. Contact Renee Payment at 776-9436.last_img
